In the fourth quarter of 2024, several medical apps demonstrated notable performance on the Android platform in Portugal. Here's a closer look at the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Saúde Unilabs from Unilabs Portugal showed fluctuating weekly downloads, peaking at just over 1K in mid-October and mid-November. Despite a dip towards the end of December, the app maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter.

FreeStyle LibreLink – PT by Abbott Diabetes Care Inc. experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 372 in late December. Active user numbers were stable, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, peaking at just over 7K.

MyULSGE, provided by ULSGE, recorded its highest downloads in mid-October with 405. The app's download numbers then stabilized, maintaining a consistent rate for the remainder of the quarter.

Anatomy Learning - 3D Anatomy from 3D Medical OU saw its weekly revenue peak at $186 in early October, followed by a gradual decline. Downloads mirrored this trend, with a decrease towards the end of the quarter. The app's active user base also saw a decline, starting at 405 and dropping to 259 by the end of December.

Lastly, Period Tracker and Calendar by SimpleInnovation maintained a steady revenue stream, peaking at $39 in early December. Downloads increased towards the end of the quarter, particularly in late December with 260. Active users, however, showed a declining trend, starting at over 9.5K in mid-October and ending at approximately 5.8K.
